Carl is a Principal with ROCG an international professional service and consulting firm with offices throughout North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.  ROCG is the only international firm specializing in the areas of business transition strategy, finance and operations for privately owned and emerging growth enterprises.

Carl Goldstein dedicates himself to helping business owners conquer the unique challenges of owning and successfully operating their business.

Carl Goldstein brings a distinct perspective with more than 35 years in advising small and medium-sized organizations in the areas of business diagnostics, strategic planning, business growth, negotiating contracts, profit improvement and process design.

Recognizing opportunities that had previously gone undetected, Carl dissects every angle of complex family dynamics of a business until a clearly viable solution for the whole is uncovered. In recent years his specialty has been in helping to negotiate business acquisitions and sales. As a senior consultant and facilitator Carl has attended board of director's meetings, advised on day-to-day business operations and facilitated corporate management meetings.

He is also a founding partner of Shepherd & Goldstein LLP a regional full service certified public accounting firm and SG Wealth Management LLC. Founded to do more than provide clients with compliance-oriented services, Shepherd & Goldstein’s principal goal is to make a positive difference in their client’s lives.

While pursuing his passion for helping business owners grow to achieve their quality of life goals, Carl still devotes time to volunteer efforts. He is currently the Treasurer and a Member of the Directors for the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (225,000 members). Carl’s prior positions include Member of the Worcester Children's Friend Society, a Founding Director of Why Me, Inc., Treasurer of Worcester Jewish Community Center, Treasurer of Temple Sinai and Treasurer of Worcester Youth Soccer League and a member of Masonic Level Lodge.

Carl is also a regular speaker on business development strategies. A graduate of Bentley College, Carl is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
