Rob Moore, MST, CPA
Principal, Founding Member
Rob is a Principal with ROCG, an international professional services and consulting firm with offices throughout North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. ROCG is the only international firm specializing in the areas of business transition strategy, finance and operations for privately owned and emerging growth enterprises.
Rob has been working with closely held business owners for over 30 years. He has advised small to medium sized business owners in areas ranging from successful transition to the next generation to reorganizing the company around strategic plans that are centered on maximizing cash generation.
Rob recognized early in his career that in order for both him and his clients to maximize the benefits received from his services they must clearly understand the client’s financial and nonfinancial goals and aspirations, not only for his client but for his client’s family as well. He uses systems and processes as well as skills he developed over the years to help his clients self determine their true goals and aspirations. Once these goals and aspirations are documented in writing a plan of action can be created to document and achieve such goals. Rob also recognized that carrying out a plan quite often entails change that is uncomfortable to carry out. The best companies and also top executives quite often need the help of a change agent. Rob uses change agent systems and processes that have been proven to be successful in helping clients make the necessary changes in their lives and businesses to achieve their goals.
Rob received his Bachelor's Accounting Degree from the University of Idaho and Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Gonzaga University. He has worked with hundreds of business owners in fields ranging from agriculture to professional services to real estate. He has spoken and presented at over 40 workshops, seminars and symposiums on topics ranging from income tax and estate planning to business strategy and improving profitability through cash generation strategies.
Rob has been the President and board member of several civic and charitable organizations. He has formed a college scholarship fund and served as a City Councilman. Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA), and the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC).
Rob is married and has two adult children. He enjoys skiing, golf and traveling. He has visited every state except Alaska, Vermont and Maine.
